Title: SIP ipv6 Support with Yate 5.0.0-1 Windows Version
Post by: thebadger101 on December 11, 2013, 10:25:39 AM
Hi,

I am trying to set Yate up on Windows 7 pc on a Ipv6 only network
i've edited the ysipchan.conf file to allow ipv6 support

ipv6_support=yes

and ive set the Listener to

ipv6=yes

when i run the Client with the Debug window showing i get the following message.

<sip:WARN> Listener(UDP,'general') failed to start on addr='' port=5060 ipv6=true: IPv6 support not enabled

dose anyone know what I'm missing out / doing wrong.

or is the windows binary version not  built with ipv6 support.
if so how do i go about building it with ipv6 support

Thanks,

Hi,

Are you sure you edited the right file (ysipchan.conf, not the ysipchan.conf.sample file)?
Can you attach a log file?

See
http://docs.yate.ro/wiki/Debugging_Yate_Client_on_Windows
for renaming conf files and running yate on Windows with logging.
