i've setup a yate server with ~100 SIP clients connecting via TLS/SSIP.
yate spans a lot "YSIP Worker" threads where every thread consumes ~ 1% CPU.
so in total Yate uses 50% of one CPU Core when idling.
Basicly its ubuntu default config of yate 5.4.
Is this cpu load normal?
How can the idle cpu load of yate reduced?
output of perf top:
18,38% [kernel] [k] finish_task_switch
13,89% libcrypto.so.1.0.0 [.] 0x00000...
7,58% [kernel] [k] _raw_spin_unlock_irqrestore
2,42% ysipchan.yate [.] _init
1,80% [kernel] [k] tcp_recvmsg
tcpdump reports basicly no traffic (1 packet / 10 seconds or so...)
