Title: point not clear in documents

 hi
i'm very happy to join YateBTS forum

there's point when i'm read basic concepts of radio i can't understand
the point in Coverage Plan Topic in Radio Concepts

the point say following

If the planner chooses to use omni antennas, the following formula needs to be used for calculating the coverage area:

2.6km × r2
For calculating the distance between the antennas, the planner will use the following formula:

1.73 × r

but what i can't find or understand what is r factor where i can find it or compute it

Hi,

In that documentation r is the range of the base station. I will update the documention. Thanks for pointing it out.
