Yate server for Google Voice / Re: G-talk hang up problem

I noticed that google is no longer automatically adding your email address as a call to source in the main settings of your google voice account. When a person signs up for a new google voice account you will not automatically receive calls through your gtalk (Chat Within gmail). Additionally if you do not have the google talk plugin installed I also noticed it would start to initiate the call and then hang up within the first second.
The way I fixed my hang up issue was by enabling the gmail address associated with my google voice by installing the google talk plugin and then placing a call through the main user page of my gmail. I went to settings of my gmail and within the labs section you will see a feature to enable right side chat which I always do first. At that point you will see your chat window up and a phone icon, click that icon and then you will have a dial pad for making and ultimately receiving calls. If you to not have the google talk plugin installed you will see wording just above the keypad alerting you to install the plugin which you will need to do. Once installed then close browser and re open it and go to gmail account, try to place a call through the phone icon on top right hand side chat, dial your call to number and you should have success. Lastly open your google voice page and verify that your gmail is in the ring to phone section of your google voice settings and open Yate client and try to make a call through that same google account and you should have no problems with hanging up.
