Sorry for the late reply but i have been very busy lately. Im asking becausei'm using the version used in a tutorial, and in that tutorial it showed the network name, so i assumed that it could ve probably have to do with versions or configuration. As i'm using exactly the same but only the hid is showing.
I could point you to the url in case its no problem posting it here.
Thanks in advance.

YateBTS / Re: Yatebts only showing hni, not network name

Ok, thanks for the clarification. The reason i was asking is because in one tutorial i found on the net, the network name was showed using the standard version, so it was weird for me. Maybe the one who did the installation was using a full version and not stated on the notes.

YateBTS / Priority configuration on yateBTS
« on: May 03, 2018, 03:09:39 AM »
Hello all and thanks for previous help here in the forums. I have been encountering rx timestamp jumps in my bts installation and i come across the yatebts documentation that you can modify the transceiver priority, in order to avoid these timestamp issues. I searched on my ybts.conf file but cannot find the lines commented that refer to radio_read_priority=highest and radio_send_priority=high. If this is not in my config file, even not in commented out text, will adding the lines on the transceiver section solve the issue. This could be a silly question, but i don't know if it is related to different versions of yatebts and not available in my version installed of yatebts.
Thanks in advance!

YateBTS / Re: Issues with SMS and selection after David asnwers
« on: May 02, 2018, 11:18:35 AM »
Well, i finally finished my installation but have a few problems. First, i can call to david (32843) and it answers, but no audio is heard. I have seen in the net that could be the libgsm is not installed, but i dont see the error regarding that lib and it is installed. Second, i register 2 phones, but can't call each other. If i look in the call logs section of nib webserver, it says in the reason column, net-out-of-order, but i don't know why because the two phones can register in the network.
Third i can send messages to eliza and i see that it answers a response via the sniffer on telnet, but the answer sms never arrives to the phone.
Anyone has clues an to where start looking?

YateBTS / Yatebts only showing hni, not network name
« on: April 27, 2018, 07:51:45 AM »
Hello people. I managed to get installed yatebts and working with my bladerf. The problem is that the phone not connect to it automatically, so that i need to go to the option of searching networks in the phone, and then it shows the network but with one problem, and that problem is the name of the network isn't displayed, only the number that forms the mcc+mnc(hni). What could be happening?. I set the name of my network as default (Yatebts). Another issue i noted is that i received the message the first time i connected, but trying to call the number for testing, it doesn't do anything.
Any clues?

YateBTS / Problems connecting with phone to the bts.
« on: March 05, 2018, 07:46:56 AM »
Hello all, i installed and configured my testbts using the proper mnc and mcc acoording to my country. I'm testing basically at very local level in order to not interfere with my testings. The problem i have is that when i set up a mnc and mcc from my country, i can't see the network with the search function of my phone. I have named it YateBTS, the default. One thing i noticed is that if i try to search and connect manually to the bts, using another different configuration for another country, it can connect sometimes, and even receive the test sms that it gives. From i have read on several guides, at about 3 minutes the phone should connect to the bts automatically, but i can't get it to work. Anyone with a clue?.

P.D: Also i configured it with the regexp value of *, in order to get every phone and not having to amanually add the phone with imei, imsi, etc...
Thankns in advance!!!

Thanks for the info. i managed to get it up and running with that post. Seems that libusb is the culprit in my case. Need to be installed when building.

Thanks for the reply. I managed to patch the files needed and now it builds without problem. Now the problem i'm facing is that whoever the reason, yatebts doesn't find my bladerf when trying to start it using yate -s.
The error i'm getting is:

YateBTS / Can't build yatebts. Error at make
« on: January 22, 2018, 07:17:57 AM »
Hello all, just registered because i'm having problems regarding yatebts building under linux, and connot find the solution on the net. I compile and build yate with no problems, but when going to do the same with yate-bts, after configure i get the following error:
Makefile:122: recipe for target 'MSInfo.o' failed
make[2]: *** [MSInfo.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory '/root/yate-bts/mbts/GPRS'
Makefile:140: recipe for target '../GPRS/libGPRS.a' failed
make[1]: *** [../GPRS/libGPRS.a] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory '/root/yate-bts/mbts/apps'
Makefile:53: recipe for target 'all' failed
make: *** [all] Error 2

I have tried several times and on another installations and i get the same error. All dependencies needed are installed as the wiki and docs say. Anyone encountered this error and solved it?.
Thanks in advance!!!!
