Hi all

I am new to this forum.

I am planning on build a voip yate system and i need some advice.

using this system i want to do the following:

- Interconnect with other companies for inbound and outbound calls
- once a call hits my server i want the system to look at database for routing
- according to database routing info the calls are routed to a outbound carrier
- I need to be able to collect/write cdrs to database call-by-call basis

I need to also have around 700 channels which relates more to hardware

please i really need some advice on this.

vankooch:
All functions are aval. in yate. Have look at the docs.
There are also ready to use solutions with yate out there.. which have database routing and billing.

Hello vankooch

Thanks....I am thinking to use Ubuntu and looking to use something which can use GUI.

is that possible in Yate?

vankooch:
As I know there is only the YateClient GUI and no special GUI for the server. There is  Freesentral a web based software for soho pbx functions based on yate and from the null team.
If you are looking for a wholesale system, then the company I work for has some products.

You can find prebuild debs for ubuntu on launchpad http://yate.null.ro/pmwiki/index.php?n=Main.Download
