Is Yate Community dead?
« on: January 31, 2018, 07:43:58 AM »
Yate seems to be a great pbx/switch Software. Easy to use and logical.

Everybody says to use asterisk, because og the big community... But... look... you have a huge mountain to climb on and two groups, that can you give help... One group is very small, but efficient. The other group is big, but you have to break booth of your legs, to join this group...

And i don't want to break my legs!

So, what is going on here? Is there still a Yate Community? Is Yate development still going on?

kind regards :-)

Hi Badhills,

Yate is allve and well.

It's true that we haven't been very vocal in the opensource area in the last period of time but we've been busy building many products based on Yate. Some of the new features and the fixes are pushed to the public version of Yate as well. This are mostly related to the Javascript interpretor that we highly recommed.

The good news is that we'll soon release Yate 6.1.
