setup stand-alone SMSC
« on: October 08, 2018, 11:36:40 PM »
hi all...

I would like to setup Yate as a stand-alone SMSC, mainly to handle MT-SMS. The SMSC should receive SMPP/Submit_SM messages and then send MAP/SRI-SM to obtain the user location and subsequently send MAP/FORWARD-SM to the corresponding MSC.

I have one ESME to trigger SMPP messages on one STP to establish an SS7 link via SCTP/M3UA.

Can someone please point me in the right direction to where there could be documentation with the configuration steps?

Thanks :)

Hi,

We offer YateSMSC if you want to buy it directly. I'm not sure that all the SS7 pieces needed for it are in the public release of Yate.

You can use the contact options from the website.
